Been using MP 1.6 no problems at all, Last night I tried to get some crappy Apple software installed without success, After this I tried to start MP....TV service would not start and I got 'Error 1068: The dependency or group failed to start' so I tried to start Mysql service manually and got '1067: the process terminated unexpectedly', A reinstall of the Mysql service throws the same error. Question is is it possible to do a complete reinstall of Mysql 5.6 without affecting my current MP setup ??.

Answer: it depends.
If you delete the MySQL database then you lose any and all TV Server related settings including channels and schedules.
If you uninstall and reinstall without dropping the actual DB then you might be okay... but not recommended unless you're careful and/or know what you're doing.

Thanks for the reply...Guess I'll just go ahead and try it, Nothing to lose really as TV is unusable at the moment.
