I've come across a weird problem tonight. When ever I try to tune to channel 29 (E4) MediaPortal stops reponding. The OSD shows the channel info but the picture and sound fail to start. I managed to close using Ctrl-Alt-Del, although the Task Manager did not come to the front, it was hidden behind the frozen frame of the last channel. Logs from Watchdog are attached.

Thanks
Sharky

Check if channel 29 is mappaed to tv card. Then check if that channel can be played in TV Server as a preview.

    Thanks for the reply, Andrew.

I've checked the channel is mapped in TV server, it is mapped to both cards presented by the t-500 (as all the other channels). I can also view it in preview through TV server.

Any other things I can check?

Pins Audio and XForm In do not accept each other. Tested 1 media types

log shows you where watching itv2 then E4+1, then switched to E4 where above occured, chances are its powerdvd for audio that's doing this, personally use ffdshow audio for all my sound codecs.

    Regards

Thanks, Ray. I've changed the codecs (to Nvidia, I don't have ffdshow) and I can now tune all my channels again without problems. I've got a feeling changing might be a bit slower, but no problem there !

    Until the next problem !

    Cheers
