I can't find anything in the forums on this topic. When I start recording using the "record now" option the picture will freeze on one frame and the recording will record only that one frame. Has this happened to anyone else? How can I fix it?

These are the decoders that you selected in MediaPortal Setup - or they are MPV and MPA by default.

Does this only happen when you record using the "record now" option?

    Watching live TV is OK?

    And scheduled recordings are OK?
