Should I implement an automatic file organizer to move and rename files?

I have posted the source codes and binary files for version 0.32a here.

This just correct the bugs created in the last release

Hi WeeToddDid as you asked some pages before, yes i'm still around.

First: i love your plugin, most used app on my htpc right now.

Second: mhh i got the 32a today but it shows no infos in the OSD :)

As i recall it from memory you said in the post where you asked if i'm still around that osd is working.
Here its not. So is it for some reasons not in the binary's, did i found a bug or is it maybe a skin problem. a list with the features who should work next to the binarys would be nice :)
(i am using blue2, are there more files to copy from the mce skin folder then discribed in the textfile, in the zipfile?)

Last: i think i found a litle bug. When the cursor focus is on an episode and i press the STOP button on the remote, it STARTS playing that episode.

and again thanks for one of my favorit feature in mp

Did you upgrade to .32 and delete the old tvseries database file?
I still had the crash until I deleted the database file. Now it runs flawlessly.

Thanks again for this plugin WeeToddDid!

Hi I tested .32 and it works like a charm. Its becomming my most used part of MP :p

    A few hints and comments:

    * Could you use a directory structure with the .. folder on top, this helps to navagate and I can use the back button on my remote.
    * using back button goes back 1 level, now the back button brings one to the home screen
    * add the ability, like in my videos, to resume play where I left off
    * ability to refresh only the latest season
    * ability to auto refesh or monitor the last season, with the modified musicsharewatcher
    * ability to auto or never replace a episode
    * ability to always use biggers file for database if duplicate episodes are found say 350 and 700 MB files are present
    * Use screenshot for episode thumbnail
    * ability to add files/extentions to a black list so they will never be parsed again
    * option to specify which extentions should to parsed, say only avi
    * option to use folder structure to get season an episode name
    * add an extra field to a serie to auto add the extras to a serie under the extra label

    * add a extra field to a serie to auto add Not Found to a serie under the Not Found label for files not found on tv.com, say and preview an prequels or wrong parsed files. This helps to be able to view all files from the gui eventhough the episodes could not be found on tv.com.

    serie\
    24\
    season1\
    season2\
    season3\
    season4\
    season5\
    extras\
unknown\ or Not Found or Unlisted

    * show hide episodes not in database but listed on tv.com, say future episodes/seasons

    * show hide viewed episodes

    *

Excellent ideas. That post was pretty much what I was going to post but just haven't got round to it! If these features could be added then this plugin would be amazing!

The other feature I would like it being able to click a button in the GUI to scan for new files. So you could pick up new episodes from within MediaPortal and not have to go to the plugin configuration page.

Keep up the good work ;)

For the GUI scan - use the F9 button.
