MyTVSeries - Plugin that organizes TV Video Files (4 Viewers)

Should I implement an automatic file organizer to move and rename files?

RegExps

Hi.
I'm very new to MediaPortal and am not very good at RegExps...
I have a filestructrure which looks like this..
for example:
D:\Series\24\Season 5\24 - s05e01.avi
D:\Series\24\Season 5\24 - s05e02.avi

Another example(No real seasons):
D:\Series\Naruto\Season 0\Naruto - 001.avi
D:\Series\Naruto\Season 0\Naruto - 002.avi
D:\Series\Naruto\Season 0\Naruto - 003.avi

How do I setup my TV series to import the series correctly?

Thanks.

    Hi,

    Welcome aboard.

Setup your directory to D:\Series - and try the search.

doesnt work that good for me...

    d:\series\bleach\season 0\bleach - 11.avi

    comes out like:
series Bleach season 1 episode 1

    d:\series\bleach\season 0\bleach - 21.avi

    comes out like:
series Bleach season 2 episode 1

Then perhaps you'll need to change the filename - might be the easiest way.

    Hi.

I dont want to change over 600 filenames. I have lots of series which filenames are formatted like my examples i posted before.

I'll try and fool around with the regexps and see what happens.. But I have no clue about how they work.. =)

    Thanks anyway.

    Hmmm....
Is the regexp only working on the filename itself or does it parse the entire directory structure? If not then I'm f*cked.. :-/

Glith - Once WeeToddDid gets back into developing with MP again. I think he has gotten held up with life. On the 6th he reported:
Sorry i have been really busy, i won't be able to work on this project until next week

Looks like his estimate turned out to be longer than he expected - he has not been back to the forum since. Not to worry, I expect that if you present it to him he hopefully should be able to help you out (he has in the past help others that had issues which were in a similar fashion). He has been complimented many times on his responsive development nature. He looks out for the users and has pleased more than one former Meedio user.
