MyTVSeries - Plugin that organizes TV Video Files (4 Viewers)

Should I implement an automatic file organizer to move and rename files?

There is a <spinPosX> and <spinPosY> tag in the list control. That is the x,y coordinates of the arrows.

However you have to be careful how much further south you move these arrows as the lower right hand corner is the area where the "minimized" (for the lack of a better word) tv/video/music window (overlay) is located.

Did the skin that Brocklander made a mock up of on page 9 of this thread ever get developed? No offense to the current skin creator, but the one Brocklander designed is far superior. I would love to have somehting like that.

Anyone know what ever happened to it?

thanks for the advice & no offence taken, this skin is me just messing about with the 3dmp one that cames with the tvseries plugin. I just need something that looks reasonable on my 16/9 tv. I totally agree that the brocklander skin should be developed as i would love to have that instead.

anyone try importing Eureka the series.
Each time I try I get Eureka Seven. I have tried three ways from sunday with no luck. Any one have any suggestions. IT seems to parse correctly yet doesn't find the series. Its on the TV.com and episodeworld, and I even adjusted the file name to that of whats on the websites. no go.

It worked first time for me, had no problems with Eureka. I did have a few series that would not process like Hotel Babylon, The IT Crowd so what I did for these is edit the database directly to added them and now got all 1554 episodes in my database.

Ok here goes, you can edit the database with SQL Lite Database browser. You'll have a copy in your mediaportal folder > Docs > SQL Lite Database Browser.exe

    1) Back-up /database/TVSeriesDatabase3.db3
    2) Open SQL Lite
    3) Open TVSeriesDatabase3
    4) Click "Browse Data" tab
    5) Select "series" table
    6) Insert new row (only if new series)
    7) Fill in data (just look at another entry to find out what you need to enter)
    8) Make a note of series ID number
    9) Select "episode" table
    10) Insert new row
    11) Fill in data plus series ID

That's all you really need to do, if you want to you could fill in some of the other tables like episodemetadata, genre_series_link, actor_series_link but you don't need to.
