MyTVSeries - Plugin that organizes TV Video Files (6 Viewers)

mce1280x720 handels myTVSeries plugin perfectly. its a widescreen skin and its great and constatly updated by Boilermaker. I am using it. I manually edit the myTVSeries.xml that came with mce1280x720 to show the TV banner as well. If you are interested let me know i will post a Screenshot and the xml code.

hi everybody,
I 've a little problem, some banner does not appear in the skin while the plugin has downloaded them, (they 're in the TV series thumbs ' folder).
Moreover , i ve add images for seasons and episodes and I renamed all the pictures correctly but it doesn't work too.
I ve edited the database in order to see a way but without success.
Any idea?

ltb this has been posted before on page 63. Anyway here is the solution to your problem

There are two possible issues for this:

1.) The plugin tries to get this banner picture from tv.com. Some of the shows just don't have one. You might want to check at http://banners.fluxxx.net for available banners (and alternatives to the ones from TV.vom)

2.) Sometime the plugin just doesn't download the banner picture correctly from TV.com. In this case you need to go to the homepage of this show on TV.com and then save the banner in this directory:
C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\TVSeries
The filename needs to be in this format: "<Showname> - Banner.jpg"

as far as i konw blueto1280x720 is the same as mce1280x720. you might want to try and use the code i posted above for mce1280x720. It might work.

First, thanks takingover for the WiKi page!

As fare as I can tell MyTvSeries 4.1 is running fine over here (with the known bugs / see the wiki page)

I still get some errors in the error log (attached) everytime I start MP. Could someone please have a look.

Same problem here. I posted it before but no response so far or any solution. But it works still fine within MP so since this is the best non standard plugin for MP ever made IMHO it doesnt really matter allthough it would be nice to see it fixed anytime soon

The thing that would make this perfect would be some sort of way to make a season ticket type thing to where whatever episodes you don't have it will record automatically. Otherwise magnificent plugin.

I tested out the two episode in one file again, it's def. not working for me. I have the episode titled tar.Trek.S01E01&E02.title.of.episode and am using this regex string:

(?<series>[^\\$]*)(.s)(?<season>[0-9][0-9])(e)(?<episode>[0-9][0-9]+)(?<title>[^$]*?)


It shows the first episode of the two and the E02 is included in the title. :/
