* nfo export in Movie info screen (via context menu)
* nfo export on selected movie in titles views (via context menu)
* export all movies to nfo files in titles views (via context menu)
* on scan, filename is visible in case of movie conflict and as default search string (in case of DVDs or BDs their folder name is visible and not VIDEO_TS.IFO or index.bdmv)
* Image nfo import with local files priority
* UserGroups added in nfo import/export
* added Sort by "SortTitle" as an option in configuration and as editable dbfield in vdb editor
* rename sortitle in GUI
* fix delay on open Titles view screen
* removed percentage and watched count for DVD and BD folders (this can't be accurate because of menus)
* removed resume question for BD (libbluray currently do not support resume)
* reduced video database read in share view
* speed up actors view
* speed up Titles view
* Fixed crash on actors Progress Dialog window on actor refresh in MovieInfo screen

Hi Deda,

I think something in my installation must have got screwed up but no idea what. Anyway, a complete uninstall and then installation of this branch plus fresh DB build and my media info icons are back . Thanks for the heads up.

One other thing I'm having a problem with ATM is the new "Use Sort title" option. I tried testing it with the LotR's trilogy. I ticked the "Use Sort title" box and set the sort titles for each movie as follows;-

Lord of the Rings 1 > Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The
Lord of the Rings 2 > Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, The
Lord of the Rings 3 > Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, The

But when I checked in the GUI the titles were still showing in the wrong order

Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, The
Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, The

Went back into MP configuration and the "Use Sort title" box was unchecked so I re-checked it, tested again with the same result. Went back into MP configuration and sure enough the check box was blank again!

Any ideas mate? Would logs help here?

Y I know what is happening (probably). It's the problem that I need to disable for share view sorting on sorttitle so I temporary disable that setting in GUIVideoFiles.cs (it will be set back to original on share view exit) but it looks like that MP loads that on start without opening screen so you end up in Titles (if it is open first) with setting disabled.

Just need to check that theory and fix will be easy.

Y, it was that. Update you local branch and try again (all latest fixes are inside + using internal nfo scraper option -> just be aware if you enable that option, all movie info scraping and refresh will be done by nfo file, also saving movie data in config will create nfo file, also it will overwrite old one if it exists, Update database in config will use Scan tagged folders to import movies but only those with nfo file, Lookup button in config will import nfo file for selected movie).

Actors are still free and will be refreshed/updated from IMDB (also covers and fanarts).

P.S. Hugh, what huge new wiki I will need to write for all of these....

Please not overwrite the file (many information are available for alternative software) , Please make a possibility to update modified section only in NFO. PLEASEEEEEEEE

i can't believe: you implemented my suggestions in V5 - in less then 24 hours... RESPECT!!

I don't dare to ask - but i've another idea for improvement:

In the folder settings, you can configure a folder as an FTP-Folder: Therefor you configure ipadress, port, user, pass, etc. In my opinion, it would be a great improvement of MediaPortal to have an option to configure a folder as a netshare-folder with a "wake-on-lan" feature. If you access data from this folder the mepo shoud sends a magic-packet to the corresponding mac-adress.

I know, this should be a general feature for folder setting and you may discuss this idea with other developers - but hey: "You are my hero" - and now you have the chance to become a "Superhero".

It's good idea but it's little bit far away from MyVideos , all shares are set-upped in Core of MP. Maybe I can do that within myVids but it will be only partial solution because other shares deserves the same treatment then .

That's what i suspected with "I know, this should be a general feature for folder setting and you may discuss this idea with other developers".

Hmm - any chance to discuss this improvement in an other "more global" thread? Is there a thread for feature-requests?
