Any chance of this being updated so it works in MP 1.0.1? With the latest SVN, GUIWorldmap.dll will result in an error in myHome.

Same here, the Google links do NOT work, all 4 of them.
The Virtual Earth link works fine.

Does anybody know what the correct URLs should be?
(I did see a posting on page 12 of this thread, that they changed before.)

Besides that, a great plugin! Especially on the big LCD screen (Full HD) in the living room, browsing to vacation locations, etc...

Store placemarks

Hi,

First of all let me add to the many accolades for this plugin. It is absolutely fantastic. The only thing I think is lacking is the get from location to location function which google earth has.

I have a question on the use of the plugin. How do you store placemarks?

Any chance you can fix the Google URL's?

And, I know I'm pushing it, would browsing Mars also be possible?
I have seen the Google Moon plugin in MCE, but that is only 2D.
And Moon is sooo 60-ties!

Google (version 5) Mars is really great in 3D .

To the DEV of this plugin, please go to the link below and fill out the form to put this plugin in the master plugin list. I hope this takes off and becomes very useful to ALL users of MP. Just copy and paste the fileds from the first post to fill out into your post, and fill them out. then anytime there is an update to your plugin, please update that post in that topic as well.

Hi everybody.

Yes. Google has changed their urls again. Unfortunately they removed the version fallback we've used the last time.
Some background infos: Google seems to change the content of their map websides in version steps. Sooner or later the older versions are not accessible anymore and so our plugin is not able to reach same. The fallback makes it possible to just use version 99 and always get the latest content...

So without this fallback we have to use the current versions again, with the disadvantage that this means more frequent url changes.

Please find the new configuration in the attached file.
You can simply replace your version of this file (normally it is in the "allusers\appdata\team mediaportal" folder) or just edit the urls via the plugin configuration in the same way like it is mentioned in the file.

Hey I'm so embarrassed.. There was actually nothing wrong with the plug-in, just had it launching the wrong skin file, instead of the main one I had it going to the search field one straight away. Hence why it worked with the other skin, it was simply my basichome.xml was pointing to the wrong source.

Funny enough though, the plug-in has been going great, but then I upgraded to the latest SVN and it is now dead, I can definitely verify this, I have gone back and forward between SVN's and it definately stops working on the most recent one.

Can you please explain what do you did ?
I have exactly the same problem.
Starting the plugin - I have just a black screen.
Searching for a location - I have 'x' in each field - nothing can be found.

Tried to uninstall and reinstall - same behaviour.
