    Re: MyWorldMap plugin V 2.0 alpha (08-05-2010)

    Dadeo,

    thank you for your feedback.

About the skin files: I played a bit with those from Black Glass and fixed them (wow my first skinning :p).
Issue you describe is because of those properties:

    Code:
          <onup>6</onup>
          <ondown>10</ondown>

Attached what should be the fixed skin files for Blue3Wide. Didn't get time to test them, as I'm in the middle of Bing API interface writing.

It works perfectly now - options greyed out as they should be, no more error message. :D

Installer still needs to be propoerly done. Just a side note: RC5 is already "MyWorldMap.dll" this is why I was mistaken.

    Simone
How did I have RC3 installed and not RC5? DUH!

    Hey chemelli,

shouldn't the Bing API key be distributed with plugin (internally).. That's how it is in other plugins (MP-TVSeries, RadioTime), developer creates API key for application, then distributes it with plugin (not visible tho)..

EDIT: It would also be nice if on map type selection dialog, current map type would be selected as default (now it's kind of random)..

You are right but I would like to commit all the needed stuff. Will think again about it and find a better solution, hopefully.

I persist map type but not map provider yet.

    Re: MyWorldMap plugin v2.0.0.2alpha (09-05-2010)

    First post updated:

    • No more need to get a key for Bing (not happy with the solution but good enough for the time been).
    • Fixed last provider storing/retrival (menu related)
    • Fixed world view when changing provider
    • Changed "terrain" view for Bing: now "terrain" = "road"

Only bins attached...too lazy for rebuilding the installer...

    Re: MyWorldMap plugin v2.0.0.4beta (16-05-2010)

    First post updated.
Small code cleanup is the only change + removed all old packages.

What is missing from 2.0.0.4beta ?

    • Correct calculation of left/right/up/down arrows
    • Wait screen while loading/switching maps
    • Handling for red/green/yellow/blue remote buttons

About the last one: would not be better to have 1 button for map type (green: road->terarin->satellite->hybrid ) and one for provider (yellow: google->bing) and not all 4 of them ?

    Hi Simone,

that sounds reasonable to me. It is then a similar behavior like changing audio/subtitle streams or aspect ratio in My Films/TV.

Thank you for the work on this plugin!

Um, on my Win7 64 bit system the new MPE1 file now installs the dll and .config to C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\ not C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\Windows
