The "Online video plugin" is mostly broken, I think. Vattenmellon fixed the YouTube part, though.

A standalone YouTube plugin is very welcome

Just a silly question, how this new plugin compares with the online video plugin that has also youtube ?

This plugin will only focus on YouTube not 20 more sites.

That is the main different goal.

Also i got following message "can't connect to youtube", but I can se thumpnails from the movie.

I've tried both FLV Player and MPlayer. What I'm not sure about is where the file "player.swf" shall be copied?

Found a solution. Using my internal player (Windows Media Player) and ffdshow with a .flv splitter.

Do you have the possibility to ad following text to every YouTube URL: &fmt=18 This will show all movies in High Quality.

What happens if there is no High Quality movie? Will it just play the normal one, or get an error?

It will just play the normal one, I tried it when i compiled my own version of OnlineVideos.

Hello, I have a problem with the search.
The virtual keyboard pop-ups, then I start keying something ... then eveything hangs-up, ... the background becomes black, the CPU raise to > 95% ... and everythingi is blocked .... the only solution is PC reboot
