Navigation logic (1 Viewer)

I don't know if this is logic residing in the skins or in MP itself, but I'm having issues with some of the navigational logic.

Navigation example (with MCE remote):

Start MP -> My TV -> Enter TV fullscreen -> Go to EPG -> Select channel -> Go to EPG again -> Select another channel.

Now, if I press exit on the MCE remote here, I'm expecting to fall back to step 2 (TV) above, but instead it goes through the whole chain backwards.

Why is this? Am I doing something wrong or is this the intended behvaiour (in that case, how can people stand it ).

Ok sorry for bumbing an old thread, but instead of opening a new one... This is driving me insane. It can't be only me either, everyone I show it to can't understand it either.

It seems quite clear, no? You enter the guide by pressing Guide on your remote. Then you EXIT (i.e go back to TV) the guide by pressing exit on your remote. If I enter TV, then enter the guide, then EXIT the guide, I really expect to fall back to whatever was previous to the TV when pressing EXIT in TV mode, not going back to the guide again.

Can someone please explain to me why it is this way.
