We have created a design around the Black Two Skin Layout, but need to adjust som e functional features of the skin. When we go full screen with the TV we need a button to return to TV Home. also we have incorporated the web browser plugin, we require a back button there too. please email me at neil@auratech.net, ndrhule@gmail.com.

My company is Aura Technologies, and we are developing a Kiosk implementation of Media Portal to be used with a touch screen monitor, but we need to tweek some of the navigational issues.

Isnt that kinda of thing not inline with the open source nature of Media portal, you might wanna check that you can actually use media portal to make money from. As I understand it, for other open source projects, you cannot sell the software service itself, but you can sell consultancy for configuring of open source software for 3rd parties, if you do not own the software yourself.

Anyway back on topic, what you require isnt a big issue. Id suggest reading these forums etc for info on how to do it.

I myself have been playing with the skinning side of things and its pretty straight forward.

Hi,

Hmmm...I'm using version 2.0.0 RC2 for my Kiosk implementation. Does that have a basic home screen property? If so how do I configure it?

I'm using Version 2.0.0 RC 2 because it is the version that we went through a lot of trouble to get it to work with our nvidia vivo card. We tried the latest release and it did not work well with our card.

How much should i donate to the mediaportal for your valuable service?
