We selected the skin using version 2.0.0 RC 2 of the application. In the default home screen mode, the back button on the full screen video does not show. Is this because it is not in basic home screen mode?

open the configuration.exe
go to general
select "start with basic homescreen"

The version of media portal that I have doesn't have that option in the general settings. version 2.0.0 RC 2. I'm not seeing it. I see it in the newer release though, version 2.2.0

i think, you will have to use a newer version then

a workarround could be to use the default homescreen and move the menucontrol outside the screen, then add the stuff you would add in the basichomescreen and set the defaultcontrol to the button you want to have the focus on at startup.
