I have several issues with my mediacentar which I would like to polish.

I succedeed to make my PC standby with remote but I have problem with wake up process. PC shows login screen instead off MediaPortal. I implemented procedure to avoid login and it works when PC boots. But when it wakes from standby it requires login.

Also, I have picture quality problem. Nothing big but quite annoying.
On some channels or when I watch recorder tv there is green line on the bottom of the screen and it flickers. Also when I watch TV I can notice two 10 cm wide transparent stripes which remain there all the time.

Any hints?

Check in the Display Properties -> Screen Saver -> Power

Then go on Advanced and untick "Prompt from password when computer resumes from standby"

Also check the screensaver tab if the "On resume password protect" setting is ticked.

I should really have refreshed the page before getting round to replying - Doh

Hi,
try this to stop the login screen showing after resuming from standby...

right click on your desktop and select properties.
go to the "Screensaver" tab
select "power" at the bottom of that window

another window will pop up with the title "power options properties"

Select the "Advanced" tab

Deselect the option to
"Prompt for password when the computer resumes from standby"

Apply, ok etc and see if that works! :)
