Need help in using WinTV PVR USB2 with Media Portal (1 Viewer)

I have the Media Portal version 0.2.0.0 and I have a problem getting the TV to work on it. The tv still works fine with the WinTV 2000 software that came with Hauppauge but it doesn't work with Media Portal. I click turn on TV but it automatically turns off. I have searched the forum for previous posts that might help but nothing does. I also ran the setup wizard, it says that it doesn't detect the TV Card. Please help me in getting this to work. Thank you. I

make sure wintv 2000 isn´t running in the background.
reboot system
pull power supply from box, reconnect
install 0.2.0.4 or (at your own risk) the latest svn version

there have been added 1 or 2 deviants of the hauppauge pvr usb2 lately after 0.2.0.0

if all this does not help, look for a thread containing "graph edit"

I tried that new update but it still didn't make a difference. I still can't get the TV to work because it doesn't recognise the TV Tuner card, can some help me with this please? What am i doing wrong?

Hi,

start setup, goto television -> capture cards -> click add (which fails because it doesn't get recognised) -> close setup. Next, attach the mediaportal.log (or configuration.log if you're using an SVN snapshot) to this thread so we can take a look.
