Need help physical deleted files from hdd (1 Viewer)

Hi at all,

I got a problem with My TVSeries.

I`m recording the Series Hawaii Five-0 and all is fine.

But now, there are two episodes deleted physically from the hdd. :eek:
On Sunday they where at the hdd.

Therefore I need help for this problem :D

It`s only on this series. All other series ok.

    What makes you think TVSeries deleted them? That is quite a serious.......accusation ;-)

    Hi Inker, it`s no accusation.

    But is there any function that`s delete episodes? I`m looking in TVSeries, TVWishlist, TV-Server, MediaPortal Configuration and can`t find any point thats take this.

    Any help is welcome.

    Yeah, I was kidding about the accusation ;-)
    There is an option in the TVSeries plugin that allows you to physically delete files. You would still have to manually delete them though of course.

    Doesn't the TV Plugin have an option to automatically delete recordings when ur low on space or soemthing like that? I'm really not much help there, sorry.

    Also I can`t understand this. I repeat it, it`s only in one Series (Hawaii Five-0). All other series are ok.

    Could it happen if there is no data in "TheTVDB" in my language (german) that episodes are not detected and of course deleted?

    Aren't deletions filed in the logfile? Maybe you can check there.

    No, we never delete anything, certainly not without asking. But since you can repeat (reproduce this), do so and post your logs please. Then we can look.

    Unfortunally, at the last weeks all works fine.

    But yesterday I saw thats some Episodes of "Castle" are deleted :mad:

    And the best of it is that is nothing in the Logfiles. None :eek:
    I know no further. :mad:

    That gives more reason to suspect another program you have is doing the deletion.

    I delete files from within MP-TVSeries all the time, either disk+dbase, or disk only (allows me to keep track of last-watched episodes without keeping the media file), but it *always* requires manual confirmation to do so ('0' -> '1' or '0' -> '3') and you need to have the delete from within GUI option enabled for the '0' delete dialog to appear.

    Perhaps you have some post-processing scripts in your download system that is a little bit too agressive on cleaning up.
