I am consider buying the micro ATX Asus A8N-VM CSM (picture: http://www.asus.com/999/images/products/766/766_l.jpg) and putting it into a Silverstone LC14M (back side picture: http://www.silverstonetek.com/products/lc14/back view/LC14.jpg) which they say supports micro ATX.

What confuses me is that the picture of the motherboard clearly shows that not all the three leftmost connectors are audio connectors. While the rightmost connectors on the Silverstone (where the leftmost motherboard connectors enter) clearly are.

Shouldn't a micro ATX board always fit into a cabinet that says it supports micro ATX?

Thanks!

I think you will find that the panel that surrounds the connectors in the Silverstone case is replaceable, and the correct panel (with compatable connector layout) will be supplied with your microATX motherboard to replace the one supplied by Silverstone.

    HTH?

    Thanks for quick answers :)
It is just sooo strange the mainboard specs doesn't mention that.

Bigal, I noticed your hardware configuration is exactly like what I have come down to (except I'm going for the LC14M).
Are you happy with it? Is it the spinpoint you have?
Where did you buy the motherboard?

    Thanks!
