I'm trying to make a grabber for www.yle.fi (Finnish TV). I know there are other grabbers for the channels provided, but the descriptions are generally more extensive and, more importantly, the guide is available in both Swedish and Finnish.

An example of the simplest way of displaying the guide for a specific channel and day:
http://www.yle.fi/ohjelmaopas/index.php?&co[]=mtv&date=20060623&l=s&verbose=yes&span=day&r=fsd&mode=print

The problem I'm unable to solve is that some programs may not have a description and that also excludes the tags used around it, so the structure of the rows varies slightly.

Row with description:
<tr><td>START</td><td></td><td>TITLE[/b]</td></tr><tr><td></td><td></td><td>DESCRIPTION</td></tr>
Row without description:
<tr><td>START</td><td></td><td>TITLE[/b]</td></tr>

I've looked at the standard grabbers and the provided example, but I'm still stuck. :(

Also, is it possible to get guides for different channels from different sites (with different time zones), and then have a corrective time offset per site or channel?

Any help would be much appreciated. :)

Sorry WebEPG cannot currently deal with variable templates. It is on the plan tho. So you will need to use the common format and that means, title only and no descriptions :(

Different timezones for different sites is no problem. Different timezones for different channels from the same site will work, but they need to be put into seperate files, one for each timezone.

    Hope this helps.

Well, you did save me a lot of time trying to create the grabber. ;)

So you're planning to support variable templates in the future, then? Sounds good to me. Hopefully the future is not too far away.

How do I configure different timezones for different sites?

    Thanks for responding so quickly!
