Need to reinstall OS, suggestions for best way to save settings from MP? (1 Viewer)

I need to do a clean install of windows and am going to lose my MP stuff. What would be the best way to capture the settings that I have (TV server and MP) so I can return them once I get MP up and running on my new drive?

A Plugin named Backupsettings should do the job. It exports every settings file from MP and from the Tv-Server.
Even scheduled Backups are possible.

The Plugin can be installed through the Extension installer

Download backup settings from MPEI or from the website here https://www.team-mediaportal.com/extensions/system/backupsettings you can backup all the tv server settings and tv/radio channels and mediaportal settings including thumbs.
It will be installed as a TV Server Pluggin if you have a tv server so your find it in TV Server configuration under pluggins once you have installed it.

Hope this helps it certainly saves hours or reconfiguring.

There is a tool. Look in the Extension installer... Does a full backup incl. Database etc...

I dont know the name, something with backup...

One Thing: be sure that your new installed System has the same Name like the old installation.
