Need your advice on migrating from MyVideos (1 Viewer)

Hello All,

I'm playing around with MovingPictures for few days, reading hundreds of threads and still do not know what strategy should be used when migrating from MyVideos to MovingPicture.
Is there any way to export database from MyVideos and than import it into MovingPictures preventing many custom descriptions and what is most important watched/unwatched flag?
I have planty of videos organised in folders /movies/{Movie name}/{Movie name as filename}.avi, if there are linked movies like my favourite Dirty Harry 1, Dirty Harry 2 etc, the structure follows /movie/{Movie name}/{Movie episode [number of episode]}/{Movie name as filename [number of episode]}.avi.

I also tried MyVideos local scraper but it takes only graphics, no description, no actors, no watched/unwatched etc...


Any help would be very apreciated.

I don't know of a way to migrate the database to movingpictures.

Movingpictures is much better at scraping info though did you just try to scan your movies folders?

Yeah, I did but scraper for my language (filmweb.pl) was broken (outdated) so I received just a garbage. Other (imdb) scraper worked well but gave me strings without my national characters what was inacceptable.
