************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I've got the exact same error message after upgrading to MP 1.01 and installing the my torrents-plug-in. I also use vista ultimate SP1,
anyone an idea?

    I think this has nothing to do with the MyTorrents plugin, but with the Visualization for the BASS player. I had this but someway managed to get rid of it by editing my MediaPortal.xml file (user files) but now it's back again. It's some sort of bug in 1.01 I'm afraid.

    Please disable all 3rd party plugin and try again.

    And, as always, attach your logs.

    Simone

    First of all, thanks for taking interest in this matter.

    I did remove all of my 3rd party plugins by moving them from the plugins folders (windows, process) to another folder on my desktop but the exception remained. At the time I was using a visualization called "R4". I removed all references to that in my MediaPortal.xml and the exception disappeared (at that time I did however have ALL my 3rd party plugins in the plugins folders, so I for one do NOT have any issues regarding those). ATM I do not have access to my logs so I can't attach them to this post (away from my HTPC).

    The only thing I remember changing between a working configuration and one that doesn't work is enabling the volume normalization in the "DSP" settings. Does that ring a bell for any of you with this issue?

    I meant to post earlier that i think its something to do with the music. When i enable gapless playback and enable normalisation this is when the problem occurs. I will close my hard drive later and try to narrow down exactly which of the above is causing the problem. How do i gain logs for the configuration program? Is this not just done when using mediaportal itself?

    Renaming the musicdsp.xml to musicdsp.xml.bak did the trick for me, but I'm still trying to figure out what went wrong and why.

    My musicdsp.xml looks like this:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <Settings xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" MusicDirectory="C:\">
    <BASS EffectName="Gain">
    <Parameter Name="Gain_dbV" Value="3,586" />
    </BASS>
    <BASS EffectName="DynAmp">
    <Parameter Name="Preset" Value="1" />
    </BASS>
    </Settings>

    Worked for me as well. Here's the content of my musicdsp.xml:

    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <Settings xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" MusicDirectory="C:\">
      <BASS EffectName="DynAmp">
        <Parameter Name="Preset" Value="0" />
      </BASS>
    </Settings>

    I haven't set my "MusicDirectory" to C:\ btw.
