Netflix is not working correctly on MP 2 (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

I tried to use Netflix on my brand new installed MP2. I set my Account name and PW correctly. But whenever I try to start a movie, I will get the informationen "this is not a media element" (Das ist kein Medienelement in german). Is there anything I made wrong?

Hi,

what version of MP2 did you install? Only the latest builds from here https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/mediaportal-2-weekly-snapshot-2016-02-07.133630/ contain the required "browser mode" support for sites like Amazon Prime and Netflix.

So please make sure to use the linked version above. If it still doesn't work, please post logfiles.

Thanks for the hint. I have installed the Summer '15 Update 1 Release. Do I have to uninstall or is it possible to "update" this version?

Hi.
You can update your existing installation. All settings like media sources, TV and so on are preserved. The installer automatically update an existing version.
