I am having trouble playing anything. The test player opens a black screen where I can hear the audio but no video. All diagnostics pass. Real player has same symptom. I had the same issue with MCE Netflix plugin and it was due to new version of IE. I had to downgrade to IE 9. Was hoping this plugin would work better. I am running Windows 7 (32), MP 1.6, IE 11, latest plugin version. Any ideas?

Yes, it is disabled. I saw that in the thread and checked it before I posted. I don't think that would affect the test player anyway since MP is not running when I configure the plugin. I can see the player window and hear the audio but the window stays black. I had this same exact problem when I was running the Netflix for Media Center add in. It would always happen after a windows update to the new IE version and the only way I could get it to work again was to do a system restore and put it back. But as I said, I can go to Netflix via the new browser and it works perfectly. Maybe it is some other windows update that's doing it.

Ok. You might want try to clear Silverlight application cache (http://nathondalton.wordpress.com/2013/04/25/clear-silverlight-cache/) also there is checkbox for hardware accelaration of playback. You can test disabling it.

I never encountered such a behavior.
Let me know.

Cleared the cache and still same problem. Hardware acceleration was disabled. I enabled it just to see if it would make a difference but no luck. Very strange. Could it have something to do with the Netflix plugin for MCE? I will try uninstalling it.

Guess I am on my own. Uninstalling the MCE addin didn't help. I had some codec pacs installed prior to installing MP. I will try uninstalling them too.
