He means you wouldn't need a TV Tuner Card in every computer you wanted to watch live TV on - you could simply stream the signal from another computer with a TV card. There are a couple of commercial alternatives to MP that let you do this already.

aahh ok well im still trying to decide on a tv tuner card that is wireless but im not having any luck finding anything worthwhile and it looks like I may have to drill some holes to run the wires as I am never going to put a computer right next to my tv.
