I will check the older versions and see if there is some difference.

I have not been able to come up with any solution I'm afraid. Have you had any success in the meantime?

It works perfectly and reliably for me ... Which is a terrible, terrible thing because it means I have no idea what is going wrong for you!

Guys, will this work with any old IR receiver, or does it have to be the Xbox one?

I have an Xbox remote and receiver, but I don't want to dismantle the remote receiver. Anyway, I have a remote receiver for the controller which came with my TV card (Compro DVB-T300).

So has anyone tested this with a non-Xbox remote receiver?

This plugin will only work with the Xbox receiver.
