Nothing about my setup has changed, just a new SVN build 13747

when playing mp3's the sound quality is poor under certain conditions:

jumping to a next track makes next mp3 stutter for a few msec.
while playing mp3 and browsing though networkshares, music stutters.

Im using ASIO SB live with Kx drivers and with previous builds ( few weeks old I had no problems)

was the BASS player updated or is something else different ?

I've got the same problem with the latest SVN :sorry:

Music files on hard drives or CDAudio : peeps and squees while playing. What a pity !

I use Lynx L22 soundcard with Bass player and ASIO option.

Cannot use BASS at all

I having samproblems and connot use the BASS engine at all have to revert to dshow player to get to listen to music Im using latest SVN

are you running ASIO as well as the others?

using build 14483, the noise is less, but still present only a lot less with this build

1: ) it happens way less when just playing music and doing other stuff in MP like browsing, but is DOES still happen

2: ) when pressing next and previous track it is as worse as ever, every time music is heard and next is pressed, BASS shudders.

3: ) Howevr , it seem to be a CPU issue, I wanted to test the milkdrop viz and now the stuttering is even worse, like every second it stutters with 80-100% CPU utilization

Using Dshow if have no problems no stuttering what so ever

Ok, my problem seems to go away if I disable internet lookups for coverart. It seems the lookups cause a very short CPU overload and hence Mediaportal ist stuttering. But shouldn't the CPU usage for such lookups be limited? So this seems to be a sort of bug.
