I didn't mean that you should copy the FrontRow theme, instead use the idéa of making the 2D surface feel 3D as FrontRow does in the main menu. And with the new conditional visibility, animations and animated png you would be able to do that!

I like your previous work! And I like your idea of making a community skin. I was also thinking about that when making my SimpleMP skin. There was an earlier thread abot community skinning but it's dead now.

Post some more ideas and you will find someone that's interested of making the xml's.

I also like the ide of a 3D styled frontrow inspired theame, as for the music I have posted some inspiration from Vista MCE, se:

And for the background I personaly realy would like white buttons with a blue background But maybe a bit darker then B2 and with some more "blur", attached a suggestion I found on the web (Tried this background with the buttons from Vista MCE skin and it was great but not ready to use, I learned its a big jump to make a skin look and feel "solid".....). Therefore it cant be used because it might be copyrighted.

However the taste is different, in the abouve thread there were a fought about a user selectable background. Maybe this could be made simpler? Could it be possible to let the user just select a solid backgroundcolor (blue, green, gray, red etc) and then have the moving white blur as a standaard animation for all of them?!

Can you use some of the .jpg images in the Plain jane skin in Gbpvr there are several to choose from Lord of the rings,superman,eragon,starwarsand star trek.
Those would be awesome additions to media portal in my opinion.
One idea is the shinny mirrored effect for the menu buttons, just a thought.

As of yet there are no files or final ideas. I was hoping that a number of people would submit pseudo screen shots and then maybe we could have a poll??
