I've just got a new HVR1200 as i thought my HVR2200 was a bit iffy and was a bit past it - it turns out that the 2200 wasn't past it at all, it turned out that Scheduler++ bug that would make the 2200 fault with 'no free card available' - anyway to cut a long story short........i thought now that i've got 2 DVB-T cards i would get more recording grunt by installing and configuring both these cards.
I've installed the HVR1200 driver, and it appears within MP, and i can select country / region and begin a Scan just like i do with the 2200 (same country, same region), however the WinTV 885 tuner doesn't pick up any signal or any TV stations. Just in case anyone asks, yes i've moved the RF input from the 2200 to the 1200.
The name of the Tuner under Computer Name in TV Server Configuration is '885 BDA Tuner/Demod'.
The question is......am i doing something wrong, or is my tuner poked?
