New install, Recordings not appearing in "Recorded TV" (1 Viewer)

I am attempting to get Mediaportal 2 running on a clean build of Windows 10 Pro (64 bit). Initially all appears well: I have the client and server installed, tuner added and the EPG has populated (via DVB-T OTA) correctly. I can also watch live TV with no problems.

If I schedule a show to record from the EPG, everything appears to be OK and I can see the .TS and .XML file being created in the default folder. However, nothing appears in the “TV -> Recorded TV” section of the Mediaportal GUI.

I’ve tried an OS rebuild and re-install of Mediaportal 2 with the same issue – note that I am using the default skin.

Has anyone else come across this or am I doing something silly?

Check if your recordings path is added as a media source.

Hi.
Normally the recording folder will be added as MP2 media share automatically when you first time save the TV config. But nevertheless please have a look, if it is available. A question, do you use a local folder for storing your Recordings? And if yes, did this folder has read - write permissions for "Everyone"? If not, have you entered the user/passsword to access the network folder in MP2 Settings (Settings - Server Settings)?
If those did not fix the issue, we definitely need a full set of log files...
