NEW! MediaPortal Ventrilo Server is up!!! (1 Viewer)

For those of you interested I have put up a Ventrilo Voice server for MP users, developers and skinners. I will be online most days from noon-midnight CST to offer light support for MediaPortal. I encourage other users to do the same!

Just goto Ventrilo - Surround Sound Voice Communication Software to download the app, install, give yourself a name and then enter the following server info to connect.

Guest access:

HostName or IP: mpvent.hopto.org
Port number: 3784
Password: mprocks

For a private logon and to reserve a name with the server, just PM me!

Ventrilo is set by default to use the left ctrl key as the push-to-talk button.


The server has public rooms for general chat, support and testing. Private rooms for developers of skins & plugins are also available.

Thanks Joz.. trying to get High to point the ip to a subdomain. vent.team-mediaportal.com or voice.team-mediaportal.com.... something easier to remember
