When I add a new movie file to my movie folder, will it automatically download information and be added to the local Moving Picture database? So far, it has not done so.

It would be a shame if it was necessary to manually rescan for new movies every time one is added. If this is the case, then add this suggestion to the box I guess.

Yes new movies that show up in your watch folders should be picked up by Moving Pictures almost immediately. Can you please post debug log files demonstrating the issue, so that we can look into it for you? Here's how to get debug log files.
