I have just installed the latest version (4.7.5.1043) and I am using DVD Profiler.

When I export to XML and try to set up the MyFilms plugin, it seems to work. However, when I go into the plugin through MP, I can't find any movies.

It seems like I can add a location for the disc on the "Personal Information" section of the movies, so I add the path for each of the discs.

I have included an XML file with 3 DVD's in - noen of these are visible when i go into the plugin.

I tried to locate the configuration file for the plugin, but I don't know where I can find it.

Please help me to set this up,as I would really like to use DVD Profiler with MP.

It's seem effectively that disc information isn't taken into account.... I'll take a look. :sorry:
However as it seems that you store your DVD files into directories named with mobie Title, you should try to put the parent paths directory into the Paths for Movies File Search (ex in your case : X:\DVD\)
If you have many directories, you can put all of them separated by a ";". In that case, no need to add extra information in your DVDP database, only respect the folowing rule : the directory name containing movies's files must contain the movie name.

Thanks for getting back to me;

I'm not quite sure I understand; I have about 500 DVD's I am currently ripping to my harddrive, and storing in directories under X:\DVD. The directory name is equal to the disk-name, and I store the TS_VIDEO directory in the movie-name sub to X:\DVD. I do this instead of using ISO files, as the auto-mount feature caused my computer to repeatedly either crash OR auto-mount every movie I "rolled over" in MP withtout even starting the movie.

So; do you mean that I need to store each directory name (like X:\DVD\MOVIE1;X:\DVD\MOVIE2) or would I only have to set X:\DVD\ in the Paths for Movies File Search field ? I actually have set this to X:\DVD\ currently.

The strange thing is that the import through your plugin seems to go fine (at least that is what it reports back to me).

Does the XML file I sent you work for you ? If so, could you walk me through the different settings I need to be able to make it work ? As I mentioned I am currently not able to see any of the movies in a list inside MP at all.

However, if I switch view to display movies by country, I can see that there is 3 movies , but when I select e.g. Norway, an empty list is displayed.

Hey zebons.

I must be stupid or something but I still don't have the new MyFilms (4.7.5, tried again today) working....
The skin just show some placeholders and says label missing and stuff. I did import ant catalogs in there...

I even tried removing all skin files and plugins by hand before installing the mpi file, that didn't help...

I didn't re-export the ant catalogs since they should be fine (they are working with the older version I'm still using, dunno the version number out the top of my head)

There is something i dont really understand. We can only have one script in MyFilms. So if i want to use MovieGoods for Posters i cannot have imdb grabber for infos at the same time?

Yes, that right. but with AMCUpdater, you can specify with field you want to update. So i think, you can scan your movies with IMDB script with all fields except posters, and you can re scan with just posters scripts.

I'm not very sure ... Zebons can you confirm that ?

Yes, that right. but with AMCUpdater, you can specify with field you want to update. So i think, you can scan your movies with IMDB script with all fields except posters, and you can re scan with just posters scripts.

i can only update picture with posters scripts within MP. When i am trying to scan (with AMC updater) with this poster scripts, it do not update anything

I think that you use a skin not updated (not delivered in the mpi package). What skin do you use ?

With a manual update run with AMCUpdater I think it'd be possible to relaunch the scan for posters with another script and of course by choosing only the picture field.
Orion, can you confirm ?

I wish that the next version of the grabber will permit that purpose
