for have the better experience with Ambilight, you need to connect to Atmolight ( or MePo DirectX with the modified Core ) surface renderer.
don't ask me how, because i don't know,what i know, i think we use surface treatment from DirectX overlay.
You can contribute to an new plugin for MP for manage your Ambilight software. or create a new tab inside Atmolight. with dedicated tab for use and manage your software.

PS : if you create your own plugin for MePo, source files should be available because is designed for OpenSource project.
PS 2 : Many german users like SEDU board ( i think is DMX protocoll ), as ambilight system ( i think you should add also it to your software).

Euh, right (shit, i will not be the new Mark Zuckerberg ). so , for nobody have right to use it (for money ), i say now "Ambilight project" for MePo is know as MediaPort'Light . Copyright to MediaportaL Team, bla bla bla ...copyright a name of an opensource project. It's quite ironic !
