Hi, :)

@Nordal: This is integrated in the current beta-build, but it's not finished yet.
I try to finish it next week.

Does somebody know, if there is a database in MediaPortal that can be used by plugins to store data or must I use XML-files to store the entries/data?

The next beta looks great, you can looking forward to. ;-)

Thanks for your help.

I think you can make youre own database with sqlite wich is delivered with mediaportal. You should have a look in the mp code or on the internet on how to create/ fill /read the database.

Looks like wortelsoft beat me to it. By placing the event/activity/appointment in a database it is MUCH better at gettinga different look/view to build other displays/skins to view what you need. I would suggest a field for person and maybe a field for catagory then you could search on appointment/birthday/anniv/etc. along with a field for date and also a time field and then of course the event field.

    Just my two cents.
