If so... as a developer I have to install a DirectX SDK as well as the DirectX redistributables. One of those - I can't remember which one - only unpacks the files to a folder. You have to then go to that folder and execute the setup.exe (or some exe, don't exactly remember the name) inside it, otherwise the package isn't actually installed.Yes, would be worth a shot.
