Do you have a couple of DVICO apps running in the background?I use a Fusion 5 Lite, but the only thing I haveinstalled is the DVICO drivers. I've found that all the other DVICO software causes issues, whether it is their scheduler, their EPG grabber, or their zulu codecs.
My advice: Get rid of everything but the drivers. You may still crash while autotuning, but once it gets all your channels, make sure you back them up. Once you get this far, it should be stable as a rock.
mofux: Yes it is that problem. I did another rebulid of the os, and exact same prob. Funny I didnt have that problem with XP MCE. Is MCE a bit more stable with TV cards? I just thought I would put standard XP on becaue I never use the MCE componant. If MCE is more stable I will rebuild with MCE.
Once I get this thing working, I am going to do an image ASAP.
C64: I didnt have any of the other Fusion apps running. I disabled Fusion smart start etc after install.
Thanks for the replies guys. Once I get some feedback on whether I should rebuild with MCE I will post my results---
