only recently downloaded MP and this plugin and i think its great!

before using this, i used plain old windows explorer and once i'd watched an episode i would manually move it to a sub folder to where my tv eps are kept (called watched) and would only keep only the last available episode of that series. that way i could tell what i need to watch. obviously windows cant do what this plugin does.

as i dont have infinite hdd space, is there a way of getting this plugin to move (or even prefix 'watched-' to the filename) watched episodes to a different folder so in windows i am able to quickly tell which episodes have been watched and can be deleted?

i dont really want to have to open MP everytime to do a little housekeeping..

also as i keep older eps offline, how'd get it so that it shows the ep in the listing, but it marked offline (is it even possible to do that??)

thanks.

edit: or if it'd be possible that files in a certain folder (in my example "watched") are automatically flagged as watched?

Welcome to the community....First it is possible to have episodes that are not online listed in for a series. You just have to check the option to download all episode summaries and then they will be displayed. Secondly you can also mark any episode or series as "watched" and the text color will change to signify the "watched" attribute.

i'll have a look for that option for the online/offline listings, thanks.

i've poked and fiddled around the various options and have noticed the watched flag, but i wanted to have something like this example:

c:\tv <-- by default anything in here is set to unwatched
c:\tv\watched <-- by default anything in here is set to watched

so if i have tv episodes in "tv" they start off as unwatched, after i watch them i like to move them into the c:\tv\watched folder so i know what files i can delete later on, so when they go into "watched" they get automatically flagged as watched as well.

..if that makes sense :)

I don't belive there is a way to say a particular episode is on/offline; but it will keep a record of all your offline content using the options described above.

As for moving a file to a watched folder, no you cannot do that; further more with the aboive option set if you manually move the file to the watched folder MP will pick that up as a second copy + still show the old now offline copy in your list.

However you can delete a file directly from within MP when you have watched it.

You might have to alter your working practice a bit now you are using MP, no need to manage and organise files any more in explorer, let MP sort the views into a nice structure and use its interface to clean things up.

i do very much like the idea of using MP as the interface to watch/organise my tv. i'm just wondering what happens if/when it or windows decides to break and then need a reinstall then i'm left (in windows) with random tv eps and then i have no idea what i've watched as theres no obvious difference in windows explorer between what i have and havent watched.

i see there is a import/export "watched list" but is there any way of automating the export as its fiddly having to go through the config all the time.

if i delete in MP, will that also delete the episode details like pic, synopsis etc as well?

    brilliant plugin this!
