Yes, continue with the second...why not use the 3DMP background?

to do so you must ask the author for the permission to use it.

if you use it without asking the author it is very likely that you violate the copyright.

actually i'm not planning on using grafics from 3DMP, since this could lead to some copyright troubles.

But since most of you seem to like it a bit brighter heres my 3rd version.
Is that one better?

Wise to make new images & not using those from 3DMP.
Still like the second one. Had to test the image on my screen first & it looks great

And also maybe "Welcome to" can be removed? Just "Mediaportal" is enough. =)

but at some point you will notice that you as artist will have to go the way you want it. you can never please all ppl

actually i'm not using the 3DMP background, i just created one looking similar.
i'll upload my psd files later so you can see.

but i'll remove the welcome, and replace it with just a "mediaportal" text or maybe a media portal logo.
