Hi,

I have a 5.1 Sorround System directly connected to the HTPC. It is correctly configured in Windows and if i run a test, a test sound appears on all 6 speakers.

I installed SAF 4.0, but I cant get 5.1 output running MediaPortal. (Of course all tested videos have 5.1 audio).
I also activated 6 Channels in ffdshow but it doesnt changed anything.

Do you have an idea?

are u using spdif or analog? if spdif did u enable in saf settings.

I'm using analog (Mini Jack).

so u have 6 analog cables (probably in 3 cords) running from the pc to the audio receiver? It would pay to check that SAF is not on SPDIF mode, which might result in only stereo output, other than that not sure because I use a digital setup.
