No background color & many missing elements... (1 Viewer)

For some reason yesterday, my MP colors went all to pooh...

It seems like the main color (blue) becomes transparent. The menus all become see-thru and the background is black.

The topbar is missing all icons except the skip/search buttons (back & forward). The bar works if you click in the correct location for the command that you want.

In MP-TVseries, the stars are missing when you RATE an episode, the numbers are there and you can rate it, you just can't see the stars

The topbar doesn't appear on several screens. TV menu being one of them. It doesn't appear during playback either.

There is more but I am writing this on my lunch break so I will add more issues to this as I think of/encounter them. I have seen a couple of posts where others have had this issue but I have not seen it resolved in a post.

Seems like a DirectX problem? Does a reboot help?

No, that doesn't do it. I've rebooted, restarted the tv service, disabled plugins (including the topbar), changed rendering settings, and whatever I could think of to troubleshoot.

Did you update your DirectX install and tried again?

Thanks for the advice! I ran that update program but it reported that nothing needed updated and it didn't appear to change anything. I can't figure out how to uninstall DirectX. (in order to reinstall)

I like to figure stuff like that out but I never could. I finally gave up and fully uninstalled MP. Did a full reinstall and now this issue is resolved.
