TV-Server Version: 1.0 RC2
MediaPortal Version: 1.0 RC2
Windows Version: Vista Ulitmate
CPU Type: 3Ghz
Memory: 2GB
Motherboard: intel gom
Video Card: ATI
Video Card Driver: latest
1. TV Card: Avermedia
1. TV Card Type: D169
1. TV Card Driver: latest
Remote: MCE
TV - HTPC Connection: analog / upc / The Netherlands

I am usign a Avermedia dual TV card in my systeem which runs on Vista (32bit) Ultimate
I first installed MP with the TV server, I tried to add TV channels but MP only find channels on 1 card.

If I scan the second card it finds no channels at all, I searched the forums bu found no solution.

I then removed the TV server and used the build in TV option of MP instead, the big surprise here was it works perfectly!
MP detects the dual cards, I even could choose my channels from the pulldown list and download them.
I the tried the second card and here exactly the same as the first card, no problem at all.

My big questions are:
- Why does the TV server find no (analog) channels on my second card?
- Why can the setup not as easy in TV-server as in MP it self?
- Why can I not download/choose the TV channels instead of searching them?
- Can I stream the TV signal to my work NOT using the TV-server? (because it does not work)

Did you disable mediacenter services since you are running the ultimate version ?

    I don't know....

But if it was running then also card1 shouldn's found any TV channels, why does card1 find channels and card2 doesn't? (it is 1 hardware card with twin tuners)

I reinstalled the TV server and made sure the mediaplayer service where not running.

Now both cards are detected and find channels, but the strange thing is when I now start TV in MP I get an error that no TV-cards where found.
When I preview the channels in the tv server setup I get a picture.

I also removed all cards before I installed tvserver in mediaportal setup.

    How can I resolve this?
