Hi, need a bit of help to get up and running... I have filled in as much of the data below as I understand...I have had a read of the faqs etc and several attempts to get going but no joy so far. When I use MCE TV signal is picked up and channels stored (I am in a weak signal area, but I still manage to get most channels) but with MP no channels are found. Im in the uk and Im aimed at winter hill.I have ran setup a few tiomes and played around with a few different settings , but still no joy. Any tips?
Many many thanks :)

    Hi chrimbow,

Sorry most posts do get read, just that some slip through the net, yours was one.

Try using the latest stable release and rescan channels, bad signal has never been good with MP, it does have a habit of locking up under these circumstances.

As the built in TV engine has no improvements made to it, might be worthwhile trying TVE3, if you follow the installation instructions and the Videos, its not that hard to setup and with a DVB card it will allow you to record more than 1 tv program broadcast on the same mux.

might be worthwhile putting a amplifier on your aerial, or if the aerial\cabling is old replacing the whole thing, just for the future of course, WinterHill reception fine here.

    Cheers
