    Hi,

I can not find any channels with channel scan. All transponder scans give "no signal".

I am using a quad duo-LNB from CanalDigitaal (Netherlands) on which I already have 2 other tuners with good reception (i.e. the dish/LNB should not be the problem!)

I made a fresh install of MP 1.1.1 on WIN7x64 (also just installed) and I have a new dual tuner "Mystique SaTiX-S2 V2 CI Dual" (meaning: no prior experience with it).
This tuner gives live TV in Win7 Media Center (i.e. the drivers should be okay!).

I have no idea what the attached logs should be telling me and can use any help/suggestion offered.

    Thanks.

    Cheers, Ronald

    I just installed ProgDVB.
Tuner + CI is working okay in ProgDVB (anyway for the DVB-S channels, don't have the professional version to test the DVB-S2 channels).

    My current status:
    ------------------
WIN7 Media Center ....Tuner working okay
    ProgDVB ...................Tuner working okay
MediaPortal ...............no signal on any transponder (anyway not with scanning). I already clean uninstalled & re-installed complete MP (before this I could not even select scanning).

    Ronald've found a solution?
I also have the same problem until a few days ago everything worked fine, but now it says "no signal" for each channel.
    I use a Twinhan DVB-S.

This morning I reinstalled the TVserver for the 4th(?) time but I still keep having the same problem (and the same lack of interrest from our fellow MPers).

Your problem sounds different though. I never had any scanner signal with this PC and this tuner in MP. Before I used XP and 2x FloppyDTV with the same dish+LNB and never had any problem!

    CORRECTION :

There actually was a friendly MPer who helped me to the solution in this post https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...mpatible-channel-export-xml-87755/#post665093

With this upated TV setup the DVB-S/S2 scanning seems to be working okay !!!

    Thank you Ronald,
I've found a solution simply change the type of card in tv server: from "general" to "dvb-s"

    Cheers, Fabiano

Again I had the most frustrating 2 days trying to scan for any transponder signal, now with 1.3.0 Beta + 1.2.3 Final
I had searched all forums before making the re-install so I tried already the "standard" solutions like the tv server card settings DVBS instead of generic and the stop when idle without any success! At the end I stumbled upon the solution (for me) which I like to share: maybe it helps somebody.

First of all the conditions where I had the scanning problem (i.e. not finding any signal):
    - Fresh install of MP 1.3.0 Beta
    - Fresh install of MP 1.2.3 Final
    - Fresh install of Windows 7 x64 Home + Fresh install of MP 1.2.3 Final

How I finally got a perfect scan of Astra 19.2 + 23.5 on both tuners :)
    - In the Mystique driver (ver. 2.4.0.60) tool, CI-menu, I un-ticked both tuners
    - In both MP server card setup I un-ticked the CAM option (kept DVBS + stop)

After this I re-enabled all CAM options and can watch tv again.

    Merry Christmas.
    Cheers, Ronald

[EDIT] the MP server card settings were not relevant, only the driver CI-menu settings are! [/EDIT]
