Not sure what logs would be useful here. The TV guide is not showing the genre colours even though the check box is ticked in configuration. I use WebEPG using both RadioTimes and DigiGuide. Genres are produced as I can see them in the TV search.
Is it just that genre-coloured TV guide does not work in the UK?

    Hello!
It does work if your EPG provider sends genres. :)
Have you mapped your genres? -> (TVServer Config -> DVB EPG -> EPG Genre Map , you can also rename the genres to your needs there, enable/disable genres etc... :))

Wiki-Link for more detailed informations: http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/18_Contribute/7_Skins/Skin_Architecture/TV_Guide - Part "Genre Mapping"
    Thanks!

Brilliant! Don't know why I did not pick that up. Thanks for the heads up.

Does this also work for xmltv EPG or only for DVB EPG?

It works for every EPG which sends genre infos. :)
I use Clickfinder EPG + DVB EPG for the channels which are not supported by Clickfinder.

OK, thanks for your answer, i will try it.
But maybe it should not be under TVServer Config -> DVB EPG, the "DVB" may confuse others as well...
