[not reproducible] No deletion of runnning recorded film (1 Viewer)

Hi,

in 1.4.0 there is a new and not nice behavior. While in all former versions it was possible to delete a recording while it's play in MP. In 1.4.0 I have to stop playback first and than I'm able to delete this recording. This is unefficent for sorting and cleaning recorded films.

Can You please skip this additional step and allow deletion of running playbacks?

Addition: It seem only to be an the single seat (Server and Client on the same machine) Detition from client to server with two pcs is still working without stopping playback!? Is there a serverside win7 problem?

I don't know if there is a problem. What happens if you try to delete the recording on the server? Where are the logs?

Tested, and I have no problem deleting an in-progress recording on either server or client. All works perfectly.

I misunderstood the report. I thought you meant you couldn't delete it while it was recording, not just playing.

I think this is the correct behaviour. If the recording is being played on one computer and you try to delete it on a different computer, someone will be pretty unhappy with you (and us) if playback is stopped and the recording deleted.

Hi,

here are the screenshots and logs for You. There is no way to delete a running playback on this server installation. Deleting on Client while payback is running on client works well.

I never tried to delete a playback running on server from client or vise versa. So this error is only on server repruducable.
