Hi, After having quite a few crashes on my setup i decided to re-format and do a frsh install from scratch. On completion I don't have subtitles anymore where I had them before. I used to press the yellow button on my MCE remote but it seems MP doesn't know that there is subtitle info in the stream. Is there anything I need to do to enable them on UK DVB?

Make sure that following is in mediaportal.xml <entry name="dvbsubtitles">yes</entry> under <section name="mytv">

Hi Tourettes, that did the trick, many thanks. I thought this would be included in the svn's now.

Not realy connected but noticed on fresh instal of VISTA 32 and MP that the Microsoft Visual C++ installed by MP was out of date and needed to go to

And get the updated routines.

This probelm raised its head when dvbsub2.ax failed to register.
