Just got everything reinstalled...and working again (Following clean install of Win 10)

Then.....I changed the name of the PC....from a random system created thing...to something that makes sense to me!
(in this case....HTPC)

I tested the connection in TV server confi....and all was fine.
Then tried to get Live TV....and "No free tuner....."

....to make matters worse.....TV Server config now wont open

Screen shows:

No, but your TVServer start is logging the presence of another server already running, which normally indicates a modified IP address:

    [2015-08-30 16:36:50,517] [Log ] [TVService] [INFO ] - Controller: started at HTPC
    [2015-08-30 16:36:50,520] [Log ] [TVService] [INFO ] - Controller: local ip address:192.168.0.22
[2015-08-30 16:36:50,574] [Log ] [TVService] [ERROR] - Controller: sorry, master/slave server setups are not supported. Since there is already another server in the db, we exit here.

In fact you note that you changed the name of your PC. Put it back to what it was and you should be OK.

.....It occurs to me that I haven't set up a static address yet.....could that be relevant??

Also.....how can I get back to that original system generated name....I didn't write it down!?

Not necessarily, it depends on your router. Mine is allocating a new IP address to any new device, which is then kept the same, hence it is quasi static.

In the working logs I an see the name DESKTOP-L07S85M. Did you simply change this name to HTPC? Try changig it back to this name, restart and test again. If it works, set the IP to static and try changing the name once again. You will need to reconnect through the MediaPortal Config to adjust the connection string.

I do believe that the IP changed for some reason. If this is true then there are two ways of a cure:
    1. Edit the database itself and adjust the stored IP address to match the real one
    2. Do a complete uninstall (clean) to remove MP (client and server) and then reinstall
1 will require that you install the MySQL Management Console and find your way through the tables. There are some thres around this.

There is also the possibility to somehow identiofy the previous IP address and then set it toi static with that value. Unfortunatly I don't see any trace anywhere of an IP in the logs.
