Hi,

I have problems playing . ts files and most .mkv files in Mediaportal 0.2.3.0 with latest daily snapshot. The problem came after reinstalling my HTPC. Before it was working very well. Both before and now I have followed this guide http://www.projecthtpc.co.uk/htpc_software.html to setup/install Mediaportal and CoreAVC/Matroska/ffdshow. With this install it is not working. Mediaportal try to open the media file but nothing happens. But if I try in Windows Media player it can playback all the .ts and .mkv files.

How can that be?

Hi again,

I have now tried with the latest CoreAVC build 1.6 still with no progress. I have attached the logfiles. It's seems for med that it is some kind of DirectX problem, but I have tried reinstalling the DirectX 9.0c but it still doesn't help.

Hi again,

I now tried uninstall MP 0.2.3.0 then install MP 0.2.2.0 and then again 0.2.3.0. Uninstalling 0.2.2.0 and reinstalling 02.3.0. And now it is working!!!!!!!

So this is a fix for me for now - but there seems to be some problem in MP 0.2.3.0 when installing a brand new installation.
