Successfully watched TV with the TechniSat SkyStar 2 PCI. Then I installed PowerDVD8 that came as OEM with my BD-ROM. Included a link on the main menu to start PowerDVD8 as an external application with the help of multishortcut. Everything still worked fine, especially with live TV.</p><p></p><p>At one of the startups PowerDVD8 told me (via some sort of autoupdate-checker) that there was a patch/update available and asked if I want to install it. I did that and afterwards I restarted the whole system - and from that point MediaPortal live TV stopped working. I assume that PowerDVD messed up the codecs or something like that, because the SkyStar card itself works perfectly and EPG grabbing is running well. I just can't watch anything. Everytime I start live TV MediaPortal brings up the error "Unable to play: live3-0.ts.tsbuffer".</p><p></p><p>I even can't preview the channels in TV-server configuration - when I try to preview a channel the popup windows stays with white background.</p><p></p><p>De-installing PowerDVD did not help.</p><p></p><p>Any ideas?</p><p></p><p>Regards,</p><p>Jens</p></blockquote><p></p>
